With over 1200 members, Arizona Road Racers (ARR) is the largest and oldest running club in Arizona and is one of the largest of such clubs in the USA. ARR was incorporated in November 1970 as a non-profit organization to promote running for health and fitness and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. ARR stages annual races of all distances, from one mile to 50 kilometers, and hosts social events for members. ARR also assists at many additional runs by providing equipment and expertise to organizations to raise funds for worthwhile projects.

The Innisfail Triathlon is held right in the midst of small town life. This is our 11th year and we are very excited to announce that the event will once again be an ATA sanctioned event. The course is extremely spectator friendly and includes a Tri-it race for children and families. We are a growing organization so we take all proceeds and put them back into the event, which means better race packages, refreshments and prizes. This is a laid back, yet competitive race, with a friendly small town Alberta atmosphere.

Memphis Hightailers bicycle club are dedicated to promoting cycling in the Memphis and Mid South community. MHBC is a volunteer, non profit club with over 1,000 members. MHBC organizes weekly bicycle rides and social events for all levels and abilities. Rides are held every weekend through out the year. The Pumpkinman Triathlon Festival is a non-profit organization that was created in 2006. With experience developing and directing races such at the Sea to Summit Race, Aggieman, Eliot Duathlon, The Pumpkinman Plunge and Eliot Festival Days 5K; The Pumpkinman Triathlon Festival Board of Directors are equipped to deliver a nationally sanctioned, well run, and safe event. With the support of the Town and the South Berwick Police Department, the Pumpkinman is sure to be an exciting event for multiple seacoast communities.

Kingman, Arizona – [May 16, 2012] Kingman Regional Medical Center Foundation is pleased to announce the results from the Ninth Annual Route 66 Race for Hospice. The event was held on Saturday, May 12th with 206 runners and walkers participating.

Approximately $23,000 net was raised from this year’s event including $3,500 raised by Mary Chan, alone! The goal of the event this year was to raise funds to help support operations of the Joan and Diana Hospice Home in Kingman. The home began seeing patients in July, 2010 and offers hospice services to those individuals who are dying from a terminal illness.

Kingman Regional Medical Center provides a full range of health and wellness services, including a beautiful wellness and fitness center, a primary and specialty care physician practices, advanced medical programs in cardiology, cancer, rehabilitation, and home health and hospice care. KRMC has 235 licensed beds and employs over 1,600 employees, 250 volunteers, and 190 physicians/ allied health professionals who embrace our hospital’s non-profit mission of “Serving Our Community with Compassion and Commitment.”

Be a part of one of the biggest events for March for Babies in Indiana at the Terre Haute March for Babies April 24th at ISU Memorial Stadium.

When you walk, you give hope to the families of babies born too soon or sick. The money you raise supports programs in our community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten our babies.
