This year, the 38th Annual Macy’s 4th of July Fire works makes its return to the East River and lights up the night from one of New York’s most famous landmarks—the Brooklyn Bridge! Look for this misting tent at the event if you need to cool off!
The City of Joliet Fire Department is here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to serve our citizens and visitors alike. We provide a wide variety of services to our community of nearly 150,000 citizens. From the traditional fire department responses to our Citizen¹s Fire Academy, a program where you can become a part of the fire department team.
Our calls for services number over 19,000 responses annually, or about 52 runs per day. About 15,000 of those calls are Emergency Medical Service calls. To address this, we provide an Advanced Life Support Ambulance in each of our 9 operating fire stations. From our firefighting work force of 212, 193 are state certified paramedics and the remainders are first responders. These numbers have steadily increased since the first paramedic class of 24 medics back in 1989.
The Rockford Fire Department provides firefighting, emergency medical service, hazardous materials mitigation, extrication, and technical rescue services to the 150,000 city residents. Annually, the department responds to over 23,000 emergency incidents and maintains an ISO Class 2 rating. The city is protected by eight engine companies, three quint companies, two ladder companies, and five ALS ambulances housed at fire stations strategically located throughout Rockford.

Indianapolis Fire Department provides an appropriate safe and professional response to fire, medical and environmental emergencies. We are dedicated to minimizing the loss of life and property through fire suppression, rescue, education, code enforcement, investigation and other innovative programs. They will be using this inflatable misting tent to keep the citizens cool at various community events.
