Neal Webber, a great friend, a loving husband and father, and a caring and generous man throughout his life, learned of his very serious illness just three months following a team adventure race. From Longmeadow, Massachusetts and Dartmouth College, Neal was an accomplished athlete, a brilliant businessman and a shining star in the community. Braver and tougher than most, Neal fought cancer for four long years, refusing to succumb to it in any way other than on his own terms, until finally relenting in October 2008. Never forgetting Neal keeps all of those men, women and children still fighting for their lives, with great determination and boundless spirit, in our hearts and on our minds…
