Originally organized in the late 1880’s, the Gaston County Family YMCA has upheld the remaining constant of the Christian Mission of the YMCA and the outstanding leadership provided by countless volunteers and staff. Together the Gaston County Family YMCA has evolved to ensure area youth and families have the opportunity to experience the YMCA mission which is “to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.”
Late last year, the board of the San Diego chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association® announced their decision to separate from the National Alzheimer’s Association®. Alzheimer’s SAN DIEGO, a new, locally-operated organization has been formed in order to best serve those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia in San Diego. The new entity, has taken over the programs and partnerships that the community has relied on for more than 30 years.
As an independent and truly local organization, 100% of all dollars given to Alzheimer’s San Diego stay in San Diego.

Cereal City Athletics was founded by Tim and Emily Bandeen along with Charles and Nikki Elder. It started as a discussion about local events among friends and evolved into so much more! They are busy families juggling school, work and kids activities, just like they know many of you are! Combined, they have 8 kids and want them to grow up learning the benefits of being active and see it as fun. That is what inspires them to do what they do. They have done some big events, but it’s the little things that they do each week which are cumulatively more important. Events in their hometown of are the ones that really matter because that is where they connect with their friends, family and community. They love Battle Creek and are excited to be bringing some exciting new events to the area in 2016!

The Triumph Games is a multi-round sports competition that challenges world-class military veteran athletes. The Triumph games are a life changing experience for all involved. They are a beacon of inspiration, that represent the best of the human spirit, and challenges all who see it to raise their own bar of gratitude and achievement.
The 2016 Games will be a nationally broadcast 3 hour mini-series featuring personal stories of community service, triumph and character. The 2016 Games will air nationally this fall as a 3 hour mini-series, and a 1 hour special on CBS Sports Network, CBS Sports and Local CBS Stations.
