Coastal Carolina University is a dynamic, public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach, S.C. The University offers 66 areas of study toward the baccalaureate degree and seven master’s degree programs in accountancy, business administration, education, marine and wetland studies, and writing. Ten new undergraduate degree programs include biochemistry, economics, graphic design, information systems, intelligence and national security, musical theatre, theatre arts, as well as criminology, health and aging, and social justice tracks in sociology. The University will begin offering its first doctoral program – the Ph.D. in Marine Science: Coastal and Marine Systems Science – in Fall 2014.
