The mission of El Paso Parks and Recreation is to develop, preserve, and operate quality parks, open space, and indoor facilities, and provide opportunities for structured and unstructured recreational and leisure activities for all citizens of El Paso.

The City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department will host the 31st year of the El Paso Senior Games in spring, 2013. The Senior Games annually has over 350 seniors participating. The Senior Games are open to any individual 50 years of age or older with the events beginning in March and lasting through April 2013.
