For many years, the YMCA has provided outstanding road races throughout the North Shore. In 2006, the North Shore YMCA joined forces with New England Running Company to create the Race Series – 14 highly organized, professionally timed races located throughout the North Shore.

2011 will be the 6th year of the series! It is bigger and better than ever as thousands of runners take on these 14 beautiful North Shore courses. Our races are not only exciting opportunities for serious runners, they also provide a memorable experience for the entire family!  Many series races also run special “Kids’ Fun Runs” and offer a variety of food, fun and games for all!
