The purpose of the 2012 SBSD Mud Run is to bring together members of the community with Southern California public safety for a fun day in the mud and sun. Proceeds raised during the event go to local charities throughout the Inland Empire.

The 2012 SBSD Mud Run involves several obstacles, low-crawls, mud-pits, hills, our infamous whoop-de-doos and an especially thick mud made of sand, dirt and water. It is set in a boot camp styled atmosphere where a combination of citizens, law enforcement, fire department, companies, teams, colleges and military personnel compete together. Individual runners can enter the event or groups of 5 can enter as a team to promote camaraderie.

The Lincoln Track Club, Inc. was established in 1975 by an eager group of track enthusiasts. Although our title contains the reference to track, we have become a distance oriented club. Our membership includes some of the nation’s finest road racers to a great number of fun runners.

In essence, our club is a non-profit community service organization, established to promote running throughout this area and provide educational assistance for its runners. Our monthly newsletter has become an important running publication for Nebraska runners. The LTC is a member club of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) and USA Track and Field.

The Lincoln Track Club is not just about running, it’s also about volunteering. This is the one ingredient that makes LTC work. The whole organization is made up of volunteers and we can always use more. Please consider joining one of Nebraska’s finest volunteer-run organizations.

Team McAllen Cycling has been in existence for over 25 years. We are here to better our community of South Texas through the sport of cycling. The purpose of the organization is to provide opportunities, promotion and education of recreational and competitive cycling by:

• Promotion of honest and fair cycling

• Education of cyclists in the different areas of the sport

• Encouragement and support of recreational and competitive cycling activities

• Promotion and practice of safe cycling techniques

• Encouragement and support of public facilities and programs, including bike paths, bike trails and educational courses

• Education of motorists about cycling and safety issues

Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Program is a center for Army MWR excellence. Morale, Welfare, and Recreation exists to enhance the quality of life, contribute to Army communities of excellence, enrich living and working environments, and foster a sense of community for Soldiers, family members, and civilians. As an integral part of military life, MWR provides Soldiers and their family members with many fitness, entertainment and family support outlets. MWR program is a values-based organization, which focuses on preparing for war while providing high quality service to a growing and increasingly diverse population of Soldiers, families and civilians.

Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers is a foundation based on the entitlement of single service members to surface issues and recommend policy changes that will enhance the overall quality of life, to participate in recreation and leisure activities of their choice, and to contribute to and participate in their local communities. This program provides an opportunity to assist in the development of single Soldiers and leaders.

The Hershey Half Marathon, sponsored by Capital BlueCross is a 13.1 mile race through Hershey, The Sweetest Place On Earth… and all net proceeds benefit Children’s Miracle Network! The run will START and FINISH under this giant inflatable archway and will lead participants through many iconic Hershey landmarks including Hersheypark. There will also be a unique Chocolate Aid station during the race will give you the chocolate fuel you need for a sweet finish!

Greater Toronto Hockey League the largest minor hockey organization in the world is celebrating its 100th Anniversary! This inflatable archway will be used at several special events planned to commemorate this monumental occasion. Click here for more information
