The St. George Recreation Division provides recreational and healthy lifestyle opportunities by providing a broad range of quality programs, events, and facilities that improve the quality of life for citizens of all ages. The Plan is to accomplish our mission by creating a broad range of diverse running events including but not limited to, traditional races, multi-sport races and team relays. Paying attention to the details that make races a memorable event for the runners, the sponsors and all who are involved in these exciting, energy filled events is key. Furthermore, our goal is to create races that with effort and dedication are anticipated to grow to be on par with the St George Marathon in the areas of organization, overall experiences and ultimately popularity.

Jerry Dunn is a man on a mission. His insatiable thirst for adventure led him to running the New York City Marathon course for 28 consecutive days in 1998, culminated by competing in the actual event on the 29th day. Questioned by a reporter after crossing the finish line what the future held in store, Jerry instinctively replied that perhaps he would run 200 marathons in the year 2000. Team Pinnacle has its roots primarily as group of cyclists in Newport, New Hampshire, however, our members are enthusiasts of the outdoors and many other sports as well. We create and maintain miles of mountain bike trails. We ride on and off road for fun and competition. Members have participated in: cross country mountain bike races, 24 hour races, Ironman triathlons, sprint triathlons, multi-sport adventure races, charity rides, and promote several races every year (see main navigation bar for links). In addition to cycling many members enjoy: hiking, running, swimming, kayaking, snowshoeing, skiing, and snowboarding to name a few.
