Red Eye Relay Finish Line Archway

Filed under: Wall of Fame — Ryan Koerner @ 2:06 pm

Here is a photo of the archway this past weekend before our event with me underneath wearing the IF t-shirt.  The photo shows the archway with a banner covering the Red Eye Relay logo.  The event was the Coach Hep Cancer Challenge.  It was a 5K Run, 2K Walk and Bike rides of various distances.  The arch worked great and looks wonderful.

Everyone loved it.  I can’t wait to use it at the Red Eye this summer.  Thanks for making such a nice inflatable and meeting our timeline!

CFB / ASU SHILO – Terry Fox Run

Filed under: 25' Angle Arch,Wall of Fame — Ryan Koerner @ 11:45 am

The Terry Fox Run is an annual non-competitive charity event held in numerous regions around the world in commemoration of Canadian cancer activist Terry Fox, and his Marathon of Hope, and to raise money for cancer research.

The event was founded in 1981 by Isadore Sharp, who contacted Terry in-hospital by telegram and expressed his wishes to hold an annual run in Terry’s name to raise funds for cancer research. The event is held every year on the second Sunday following Labor Day. Since its inception, it has raised via the ‘Terry Fox Foundation’ close to $500 million dollars (CAD). The run itself is informal which means that the distance often varies, usually between 5 and 15 kilometers; participation is considered to be more important than completing the set distance. There are also runs set up by schools of every level, often with shorter distances than the “official” ones.

Looks great, much better in person actually… love the look of it. Easy setup which we were worried about so that is awesome. Teardown was easy as well, and I actually got it back in the bag the first try so that is good for me! It’s been a pleasure working with you. Thanks for the help and the awesome ARCH!
