Be a part of one of the biggest events for March for Babies in Indiana at the Terre Haute March for Babies April 24th at ISU Memorial Stadium.
When you walk, you give hope to the families of babies born too soon or sick. The money you raise supports programs in our community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten our babies.
We’ve been walking since 1970 and have accomplished a lot that benefits all babies. For more details on how March for Babies has impacted the lives of babies and families, visit “why we walk” at http://www.marchforbabies.org/
Refreshment Services Pepsi of Terre Haute is a sponsor of this event. And their logo is proudly displayed on the new arch.
While running is a simple sport, it can be intimidating to get started and confusing on how to get better. Questions like, “What shoes do I need?, ”How do I run without getting hurt?”, “What kind of clothes should I wear?”, “Where can I train?” . . . are just a few of many that runners and walkers of all levels struggle to answer. Finding a place to get these answers can be even more challenging.
That’s where Go! Running comes in.
The owners, Gary Taylor and Frank O’Mara, met as scholarship athletes on John McDonnell’s heralded track and cross country teams that began the Arkansas legacy; where they learned it takes more than just individual talent to run at any level – it takes a team.
For years, they have been giving back to runners by speaking at events, mentoring athletes, and coaching school track and cross country teams – that have included all their children! With this wealth of experience, they know what runners need and will create a running community around the store to benefit all levels of runners.
The Sinister 7 Ultra + Relay, is a race that may be greatest challenge of your life. The 148km course will take you through the most rugged, remote and beautiful terrain in Alberta’s stunning Rocky Mountains. With over 5,250m of elevation gain across the course, this race will punish those who are not prepared.
The Sinister 7 is open to solo runners or teams of up to seven and racers have 27 hours to complete the grueling event. The course is split into seven stages, each featuring a geographic and historic highlight of the area. The race’s name is inspired by the treacherous Seven Sisters Mountain that looms over much of the course.

Foot Traffic is Oregon’s running & Walking Experts! When Foot Traffic opened over 11 years ago, we set out to be more than Oregon’s premiere running & walking shoe stores. Our store was founded on the principle that a small business has a far more salient purpose than simply selling great running shoes, apparel & accessories. Our commitment is to the betterment of our fellow runners and walkers and the community they live in.
We strive each day to find ways to improve & enrich the city & state we live in via healthy, fun, and active lifestyles. Whether it’s coaching and organizing youth track and cross country events; donating over a quarter million dollars to non-profits, fire departments, schools, community groups, and more; or simply donating gift products to the local grade school auction, we aim to make the community we’re in that much better.
